Title: Minnesota Project Learning Tree (PLT): Early Childhood Supplement
Description of Resource: This activity guide geared toward the young learner is designed to compliment the PLT PreK-8 Activity Guide. Lessons are based on educational practices appropriate for children ages 3-6. All 11 lessons are broken into activity sections with enhancements including: music and movement, art, literature, a snack, cognitive skills, a main group activity, and reflection questions. Activities adapted from or inspired by the following PLT activities: The Shape of Things; Get in Touch with Trees; To Be a Tree; Adopt a Tree; Tree Life Cycle; Trees as Habitats; Every Tree for Itself; Are Vacant Lots Vacant; How Big is Your Tree; Signs of Fall; and Sounds Around.
