This
high school module (part of Project Learning Tree's (PLT) overall
curriculum)
will have students examine a variety of environmental issues. Students
will gain a better understanding
of the history of U.S. forests, forest resources, and how they
can become involved in determining the forest's future. Students
will be challenged to: explain how private forest landowners
manage forests, define personal attitudes and values about forests
and explain why scientific information is important when making
decisions. This book is made available only by attending
a PLT instructional workshop. Contact your local PLT coordinator
